The Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, Jazz Band, and Marching Band are under the direction of Matt Soukup.
Opportunity:
Drum Core International Show When: 7 pm Tuesday, July 27th Where: Ocean Springs, MI Transportation: Students will be dismissed at noon Tuesday, July 27th. Students going to show - return to school at 3:30 p.m. to catch the at 4:00p.m. 3 hour show so bus will return at midnight. What to wear: White t-shirt will be given to students attending this event. Shorts (finger tip length) or pants should be appropriate. Remember, the students are representing MHS school & band so proper attire and proper behavior are a must.
What to eat: Bring a dinner and drink to eat on the way there.

Potluck Dinner - our first official MHS Band Booster meeting
When: July 30th, 6pm

Freshman - bring a meat dish of some kind
Sophomore - side dish or casserole type dish
Juniors - any type of salad
Seniors - desert
Schedule:
Band Students eat first then report to band room
Everyone else eats
Short meeting to include:
power point presentation to explaining everything you could possibly need to know about being a member of the MHS Band
model or two showing the proper way to wear the uniforms and what is to be worn underneath.
band and booster forms (don't forget your checkbooks)
medical forms if you have not turned them in as yet.
sheet with your contact information on it and you will need to confirm/edit what we have on the list so that we can all be informed.
