MHS Students have the opportunity to audition for regional honor ensembles including the St. Tammany Parish Honor Band, District IX Honor Band, and All-State Ensembles.

Students who make these ensembles get to spend rehearsals with the best student musicians in the region with a clinician hand picked to provide a memorable and educational experience.

Students are placed into MHS Concert Ensembles based on their performance in auditions for honor ensembles. Mandeville typically makes up about half of the district and parish honor bands (largest representation of any school) and we are in the top 5 of placement into the All-State honor ensembles.
